As Managing Partner of the agency, Jason is active in all aspects from production, claims and especially the service side of the agency. Jason has been in the insurance business over 20 years, with many of those years spent working in claims for various carriers. It is that claims knowledge that separates Jason from other agents in the industry. Hard work, long hours and accurate communication are the three things Jason attributes to the success of the agency. When he’s not at the office or at a kid’s ball game, Jason loves to travel and play an occasional round of golf.

Ben Ellegood is an agent in our St. Charles, MO office. His first introduction into the insurance industry was as an adjuster for a Fortune 500 carrier. That experience has been instrumental in helping clients manage the risks that arise in everyday life. He believes that communication and getting to know his clients is what leads to strong and lasting relationships. Ben has a bachelor’s degree from Millikin University in Commercial Music. Though insurance and family keep him busy, Ben still periodically plays music professionally throughout Missouri and Illinois.

Doug Thomas was born and raised here in Farmington. After a brief stint out of the state gathering life knowledge and meeting his wife of 16 years, he moved back to his hometown where he has been a licensed insurance agent since 2006. Doug is also a former small business owner and knows the challenges and rewards of working for himself. While his niche is helping his clients navigate the Medicare system and assisting other business owners attain group health plans, Doug is willing and able to take on any type of insurance need for his clients. With over 40 years of combined experience at the Jent Insurance Group, there is always someone who can help!
